Veranda Las Vegas

Veranda Las Vegas, located at the Four Seasons, offers modern American cuisine, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere. Veranda is located near the pool, which makes for some wonderful outdoor seating.

Even when you’re sitting inside, the large windows with abundant natural light turn the warm decor into something special.

Here’s our review of the food, atmosphere, and more at Veranda.

Atmosphere at Veranda Vegas

Veranda is a spacious restaurant that feels intimate. Inside you’ll find warm hues and wood accents. The floor-to-ceiling windows welcome abundant natural light, which really seems to set the stage for a nice experience here during the day. The bar sits off of the dining room, but it fits in nicely, not creating any distraction.

Veranda is also located next to the pool, which offers a great setting for outdoor dining. We especially love the light, airy feeling of the outdoor seating. It has a bit of a Mediterranean vibe to it.

In our minds, Veranda is one of those restaurants that’s perfect for a one-on-one lunch with someone special, a casual meeting of friends and good eats, and also for special occasions.

Menus

Breakfast

Veranda is such a light, airy restaurant that it’s hard to turn down the idea of enjoying a delicious breakfast there. It’s such a nice, relaxing location to start the day. We love everything about this breakfast menu, from the Veranda specialties to the light and fresh dishes.

To give a glimpse into what we typically order, the short rib hash usually makes the cut, as does the apple cobbler french toast. The crab omelet with crab, caramelized onion, corn, and cajun aioli is a unique dish that you won’t find on any other menus in Vegas.

There are also standards, like avocado toast, a bakery basket, eggs benedict, and seasonal fresh berries. We think that Veranda does a really nice job of offering something for every type of breakfast eater on their menu.

The Four Seasons, where the restaurant is located, doesn’t have a casino floor like the neighboring Mandalay Bay, so you also don’t get all of that traffic from the casino early in the morning.

Weekend Breakfast

On the weekends, breakfast at Veranda is a special affair. They offer a special weekend breakfast menu, but what really steals the show is the weekend breakfast buffet. If you’re considering going to one of the other Vegas buffets for Sunday brunch, we strongly suggest you give Veranda a try – you won’t be disappointed.

This buffet has everything! There’s the omelet station with loads of ingredients to build your omelet with, bowls of fresh berries, oatmeal, breakfast potatoes, chicken and waffles, avocado toast with cherry tomato, french toast, fluffy eggs, pastries, and freshly made donuts that can be customized with your favorite toppings.

There are also more savory and substantial dishes, which leave us feeling that this works as a weekend brunch buffet as well. Of course, there’s coffee, but if you’re so inclined, you won’t regret trying one of the specialty breakfast cocktails, like a tequila pineapple mimosa, a bloody mary with candied bacon, or an Aperol spritz.

Saturday Afternoon Tea

Another detail that makes Veranda at the Four Seasons Hotel stand out is their Saturday Afternoon Tea. This is a formal tea and the only one like it in Vegas.

Guests can enjoy tea sandwiches with traditional fillings like cucumber and avocado, smoked salmon on pumpernickel, and deviled egg salad on brioche. We can’t resist the tea pastries that include lemon scones with Devonshire cream and lemon curd, pana cotta, raspberry cheesecake, and more. The little handcrafted desserts are divine.

For the tea service, you can choose from peppermint, jasmine, Earl Grey, English Breakfast, or chamomile blossoms. Each selection is of the highest quality and steeped perfectly for your enjoyment.

Saturday Tea takes place from 2 pm until 4 pm. Reservations are required. The service is $45 per person or $65 if you prefer a glass of champagne bubbles along with your afternoon tea.

Lunch

Lunch is a slightly scaled-down version of what Veranda at Four Seasons offers for their dinner guests. For appetizers, the caprese parfait with whipped basil mozzarella is delicious and different, and the crab cakes are some of the best we’ve tasted.

For the main course at lunch, the selections range from wood-fired pizzas to salads (the watermelon salad is great), sandwiches, and entrees.

The natural light pouring into the restaurant at lunchtime is gorgeous and makes the food presented at the table look even more delectable.

Dinner

Dinner at Veranda Four Seasons Las Vegas is perfect for date night or getting together with friends. You can enjoy a quiet meal with a glass of wine or robust conversation with drinks while everyone devours their meals. Veranda has a very relaxed but sophisticated atmosphere, which lends itself well to so many different occasions.

A few of the decadent dishes that we love to stick our forks into include the Sin City Burger, which is Wagyu beef with bacon jam, white cheddar, avocado, crispy onion, and truffle fries. The steak salad with grilled baby romaine, gorgonzola cheese, and roasted root vegetables is another favorite. For poultry lovers, the roasted chicken breast is dressed in green goddess and stir-fried peas.

As you can see, there’s a great selection of unique, popular dishes that, in our opinion, have all been top-notch. A full bar is also offered, so you can enjoy your favorite cocktail while eating your meal.

Reviews

Veranda has an average rating of 4.5 stars or higher across most restaurant review sites. The one exception to this is Google, which is just slightly lower.

Guests love the seasonal selection of fresh ingredients that are used in the dishes and the creativity of the menu. The execution, in most cases, is spot on, and of course, there’s also the atmosphere to be fond of.

As far as complaints go, the party size seems to be a factor in how quickly you’ll be seated – especially without a reservation. A few reviews mentioned that they arrived at Veranda for dinner and were put on a waitlist but that their place in line was bumped and that guests who were staying at the Four Seasons were given priority seating over them.

Dress Code
