Many have ventured their way through Omega Mart at Area 15 in Las Vegas, but few are able to find the words to describe what they’ve experienced there. As you enter the Omega Mart experience that spans more than 50,000 sq ft, everything seems vaguely familiar, maybe with a touch of whimsy. It looks like a typical grocery store with a few artistic surreal touches, but within moments, you’re learning that this is one extraordinary supermarket. 

Guests of all ages are invited in through the doors of Omega Mart Las Vegas, and how you experience Meow Wolf’s latest installation is entirely up to you. For those who just want to wander and observe, there are hundreds of funky and interesting artistic creations from both international and local artists. If you have a creative and open mind, it’s honestly enough to wander and explore all the different areas featuring jaw-dropping work.

But, for the inquisitive, Omega Mart offers an entirely different type of experience. Throughout the four main areas and multiple other exhibits, the often surreal art tells a story and holds clues that are for you to figure out, including what’s behind the evil doings of the Dramcorp offices, which is the “corporate headquarters” for Omega Mart. Discovering the backstory is so much part of the adventure that guests are given a Boop card that allows them to unlock computers and secret electronic files to uncover clues. 

Whatever way you view this unique experience, there’s lots to do for all ages. Adults and kids alike can play, crawl through secret portals, travel unexpected landscapes, and touch everything in this mind-bending exhibit. After exploring the surreal worlds of Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart Las Vegas, we think you might find your local grocery store a bit boring. 

Meow Wolf’s beginnings were humble but purposeful as a small collective of artists from Santa Fe. The artists behind Meow Wolf’s fame are creative geniuses in the realms of graphic design, painting, sculpting, music, and technology. The mission behind Meow Wolf is to “Inspire creativity through art, exploration, and play, so that imagination will transform the world.” Omega Mart by Meow Wolf Las Vegas is a shining example of this. 

Today, the Meow Wolf collective has grown to include hundreds of artists in all fields of creative expression. The mind-bending experience of the Omega Mart exhibit is just one example of their incredible work. 

Meow Wolf has had many other successful projects, many of which have an element of the familiar to them, inviting you to feel comfortable in your surroundings before you’re led through the many worlds created by the imagination and hands of Meow Wolf’s artists. 

A few of Meow Wolf’s projects before their permanent installation of Omega Mart at Area 15 have included The House of Eternal Return where small-town meets science fiction, The Due Return that explored an alien landscape, and the artist-driven voyage of Kaleidoscope. 

All ages are welcome at Meow Wolf Las Vegas. You can purchase tickets online and choose the date and time slot that you want to attend. Currently, tickets for adults are just under $50, with discounts for children, seniors, military, and Nevada residents. Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart prices are subject to change, so it’s best to check directly with Meow Wolf Las Vegas for current pricing and availability. 

While all are welcome to enjoy Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart, Area 15 is an adult-only venue once the clock strikes 10 pm. Anyone under the age of 21 will not be allowed into Area 15 after that time. 

If you want to take the time to truly enjoy this extraordinary supermarket, plan on spending a few hours at Meow Wolf Las Vegas. Most people find that it takes 1-2 hours to enjoy the experience. Unlike many other experiences at Area 15, there is no time limit on your visit to Omega Mart. Stay, play, and explore the parts unknown for as long as you want. There is a strict no re-entrance policy, so once you leave, you won’t be allowed back in without another ticket.
