Top of the World (Strat Hotel)

The Top of the World restaurant has earned the title of “the” most romantic restaurant in Las Vegas and, in our opinion, the entire country. One detail that sets the Top of the World apart is the stunning views. Located in the SkyPod of the Strat Hotel, Top of World offers what we feel are the most incredible panoramic views. The revolving dining room rotates, with one complete rotation taking about 80 minutes – providing a view of not only the Las Vegas Strip but also the beautiful Las Vegas Valley. 

This is a fine-dining romantic restaurant, which is a detail that’s noticeable from the moment you walk in. Everyone is dressed at their best, the atmosphere is intimate, and there isn’t all the loud background noise that’s so common in many Las Vegas restaurants. 

If you decide that Top of the World is the perfect spot to pop the question (and why wouldn’t you?), they offer several proposal packages to make your romantic evening even more memorable – one of them even includes a personal magic show that ends in your proposal. 

Top of the World is open for a romantic dinner daily from 4:30 pm – 11:30 pm. Every guest is required to order an entree or purchase a minimum of $55 in food. The dress code is upscale attire, and reservations are required. 

Eiffel Tower Restaurant (Paris Las Vegas)

When you’re talking about a romantic evening, is there any place that exudes romance more than Paris? Well, maybe Paris is a bit far away, but a meal at the Eiffel Tower restaurant at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas is the next best thing. 

We think the Eiffel Tower restaurant is one of the most romantic restaurants on the Las Vegas Strip. The dining room offers an intimate dining experience, attentive service, and French cuisine that is amazing, and then there are the Bellagio fountain views from your table that are gorgeous and romantic – especially at night.   

If you and your special someone enjoy foie gras or exquisite caviar service, this is one of the best restaurants in Las Vegas to enjoy both. We also love the dessert menu and think each selection is perfect for sharing. Our favorites are the Champagne Passion Fruit Meringue and the Valrhona Chocolate Souffle. Proposal packages are also available. 

The Eiffel Tower Restaurant is open for dinner service daily from 5 pm – 10 pm. Brunch is also available on the weekends (who says romance can only happen at night?) The dress code isn’t stated on their website, but we suggest upscale, elegant attire. 

Restaurant Guy Savoy (Caesars Palace)

For a very special romantic night, Restaurant Guy Savoy is one of the most romantic restaurants in Las Vegas. Located in the iconic Caesars Palace (owned by Caesars Entertainment), the French cuisine offered by the Michelin Star-winning chef is truly a bucket list item for lovers of fine French dishes. 

The dining room is modern but intimate and inviting. The service is top-notch. However, it’s the cuisine that really sets this restaurant apart. This is arguably the most expensive romantic restaurant on our list, but in our opinion, it’s worth the splurge – especially for a romantic evening in Las Vegas. 

The 5-Star Celebration Menu is one of the most decadent tasting menus in the city. It features signature dishes like black truffle soup, Wagyu beef, lobster, ravioli, and Autour du Chocolat for dessert. The menu is $395 per person unless you add the wine pairing. In that case, the price is $650 per person. An a la carte menu is also available.

You can enjoy dinner nightly from Wednesday thru Sunday. The hours are 5:30 pm – 9:30 pm. Formal dress is required, as are reservations. 

Bavette’s Steakhouse

Bavette’s Steakhouse is the perfect romantic restaurant in Las Vegas if you’re looking for a place that’s intimate and sensual but nowhere near being stuffy or pretentious. If you were to ask us for a recommendation to take a first date that you want to impress, Bavette’s Steakhouse would be one of our top choices. 

The main dining room is dimly lit, and the combination of red leather and velvet chairs adds to the sensory appeal. The dining room and bar ooze with the ambiance of “old Vegas,” which we think is a drastic but welcome change from the clean lines and ultra-modern decor that pops up in many of the nicer restaurants in the city. 

If you’re looking for a cheap date night, this isn’t it. However, the prices aren’t over the top either. One of the signature dishes – the roasted bone marrow – is served with caramelized red onion jam and parsley salad for just under $30. The honey-glazed salmon (our personal favorite) is priced at just under $50. For steaks, the classic ribeye with a 16 0z Chicago cut is priced at about $75. We also love the prime steak frites, which are perfect for sharing. 

There’s a small but well-curated list of wines. We don’t think you need hundreds or thousands of wine selections when the handful or two you offer are as well chosen as these. And there’s a nice cocktail menu filled with the classics. Our advice is to proceed with caution. Bavette’s Steakhouse doesn’t hold back with the generous pours. 

The restaurant opens nightly for dinner service at 5 pm. The dress code is casual, but it’s fun to dress up a bit to match the atmosphere.  

Picasso (Bellagio Las Vegas)

Picasso at the Bellagio is an award-winning restaurant that has been graced with more than a few prestigious accolades. We’re talking about the 5-Star Award from Forbes, the Five Diamond Award from AAA, two Michelin Stars awarded in 2009, and the Outstanding Restaurant Award by the James Beard Foundation. If you’re looking for the best romantic restaurants in Las Vegas with impeccable cuisine, Picasso definitely tops our list. 

But, before you even make it to the menu or wine list, the dining room stands out as one of the most romantic we’ve seen. The elegant dining room is graced with Picasso’s paintings and sculptures, and the large windows offer a romantic view of the Bellagio fountains. However, for the ultimate romantic dinner, we suggest making reservations for the patio, where there’s an up close and beautiful view of the Bellagio fountain show throughout your meal. 

The menu, created by Chef Julian Serrano, is a menu degustation, with multiple courses of the famous chef’s most decadent creations. Wine lovers will enjoy a wine list of more than 1,500 selections, and wine pairings are available to accompany each course. 

You and your special someone can enjoy dining at Picasso nightly from Wednesday thru Sunday, beginning at 5:30 pm. The dress code is elegant business attire, and children under five are not allowed – not that you wanted to bring your young child along for a romantic date night, anyway. 

Mizumi (Wynn Las Vegas)

Oh, Mizumi. For romantic visual appeal, this is one of our favorite restaurants in Las Vegas. They’re currently undergoing renovations, and we have our fingers crossed that they keep some of the special details that make this such a wonderfully romantic place to dine in Las Vegas. 

From the dining room, there’s a beautiful view of a cascading waterfall. There’s a koi pond, and for the ultimate romantic experience, nothing beats sharing a meal on the floating pagoda table. 

The main menu is designed to highlight the best of Japanese cuisine, with fresh seafood being the main focus. Among our favorites are the fresh oysters with ponzu red wine vinaigrette and micro shiso and the Dobin miso soup with sea bass and shrimp. The Wagyu gyoza dumpling and the seasonal mushrooms with truffle butter are equally delicious. 

We’ll share information on Mizumi’s updated hours, dress code, and reservation information once the restaurant reopens after its remodeling. 

Michael’s Gourmet Room (South Point)

We wouldn’t exactly call Michael’s Gourmet Room a hidden gem of romantic restaurants on Las Vegas Boulevard, but we do feel that it’s one that doesn’t get as much attention as it should. Michael’s Gourmet Room is an intimate space that only seats about fifty guests at any point. It’s also a Las Vegas tradition that has served locals and in-the-know tourists for decades.

We enjoy Michael’s Gourmet Room because it feels secluded, and the decor borders on decadent with high-backed red chairs and walls that match. This might not be your thing if you’re into clean lines, light colors, and modern design, but they manage to pull off this decor without it feeling gaudy. 

The menu features what we would consider to be classic dishes. Many are a bit rich, but that just sort of fits in with the ambiance and the mood. We recommend the Tournedos of Beef or the fresh sea bass with buttered leeks and dill. Also, the cherries jubilee is perfect for sharing. 

The restaurant is open daily for dinner service at 5 pm. The dress code is elegant business attire. 

Hugo’s Cellar (Four Queens)

Hugo’s Cellar is known as “the” romantic restaurant in downtown Las Vegas. Every lady that walks through the door is greeted with a beautiful rose, and the bold colors of the table lines offer a gorgeous contrast to the brick walls. Hugo’s Cellar isn’t a huge restaurant, so even when it’s busy, you can still have a nice, intimate meal where you don’t have to yell to hear each other from across the table. 

The menu is filled with classics, like beef Wellington and a roasted rack of lamb. Many of the dishes on the menu are rather rich, so you might not be up for dessert by the time that course rolls around, but the Kona coffee experience for two is brewed right at your table and a nice way to complete the meal if an after dinner cocktail isn’t your thing. 

The restaurant is open for dinner service nightly from 5 pm – 10 pm. No dress code is listed, but you should dress as you would for a nice dinner in an elegant restaurant. 

Barry’s Downtown Prime (Circa Resort)

There’s just something about the warm and sensual ambiance at Barry’s Downtown Prime that has won our hearts as a romantic place to enjoy a meal and spend time together in Las Vegas. For vintage Las Vegas glamour, Barry’s Downtown Prime is one of the most romantic restaurants in Las Vegas. 

We strongly recommend asking if there is seating in the garden room when you make your reservation. We just love this intimate little space, with a tree that’s strung with gentle, warm lighting sitting as the centerpiece in the center of the room. 

The menu leans toward classic steakhouse fare. While it’s a splurge, the chilled shellfish platter is the restaurant’s version of a seafood tower. The fresh seafood is beyond decadent, but a wonderful way to treat someone special that happens to love seafood to a wonderful treat. 

One more standout feature about Barry’s Downtown Prime is that they also offer a really nice vegan menu – which is something you don’t see too much of in a steakhouse!

Dinner is served nightly starting at 5 pm. The dress code is strictly business casual or nicer. 

Park on Fremont (Fremont Street)

Ok, so the Park on Fremont might not be what you think of when looking for romantic restaurants in Las Vegas. It’s casual and a little noisier than the other restaurants on our list, but there’s one particular feature of this restaurant that we think is worthy of a mention here, and that is the garden-like patio. 

The patio is quaint, with a roaring fireplace and trees lined with twinkling lights. It’s just a really nice little escape from the brashness that Las Vegas is known for. The Park on Fremont is perfect for a casual first date or when you just want to enjoy a night out with your sweetie without blowing the bank at a fancy restaurant. 

On Wednesday and Thursday, the restaurant is open starting at 5 pm. During the weekend, they’re also open for lunch starting at 11 am. They’re closed on Monday and Tuesday. The dress code is casual. 

Hank’s Fine Steaks (Green Valley Ranch – Henderson)

Hank’s Steakhouse is one of the swankiest romantic restaurants in Las Vegas, and a meal or cocktail here is sure to be the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable evening. One of the first things you notice when you walk in is the decadent chandeliers and the nightly live entertainment that always perfectly fits the atmosphere. 

Linger over a martini at your table as you listen to the music and decide what you’re going to dine on for your romantic night out. The menu is upscale steakhouse fare, with some nice small plates that you can start with. For the main course, the chateaubriand for two from Niman Ranch is perfection, as is the Alaskan King Crab. 

Hank’s Fine Steaks is open nightly for dinner service beginning at 5 pm. The dress code is resort casual. 

Americana (Regatta Drive – Desert Shores)

Americana is our top pick for romantic places that offer lakeside dining. Sitting on the patio and dining with the beautiful backdrop definitely makes this one of the most romantic restaurants in Las Vegas. 

The menu is designed to highlight American cuisine, but we have to argue that dishes like the Osso Buco with Risotto Alla Milanese and the In-House Pappardelle with Blue Crab rival any Italian restaurant that we’ve ever been to. 

Sunday brunch is also available if you’re more in the mood for a weekend daytime date with your special someone. 

Lamaii (Spring Mountain Rd – Henderson)

To round off our list of the restaurants in Las Vegas that ooze romance is Lamaii. Lamaii offers a sensual ambiance, incredible modern Thai food, and a very nice wine selection. 

For a romantic meal, we like to share some small plates, like the deep-fried duck with panang curry sauce, spicy grilled pork jowl, and basil eggplant. For an entree, the Pad Thai with grilled river prawns is delicious. 

Lamaii is open daily for lunch and dinner from 11:15 am until 11 pm. On Friday and Saturday, they stay open an hour later until midnight.

• Scenery counts, so look for a restaurant with a view of the Bellagio Fountains, a gorgeous patio, or an intimate ambiance. 
• There are lots of celebrity chef restaurants in Las Vegas that are also perfect for date night.
• Most of the romantic places to dine in Las Vegas are on the Strip, but there are some treasures to be found downtown and on the outskirts of the city.
• We didn’t include it, but Mon Ami Gabi is a great romantic spot for breakfast at the Paris Hotel.
