Coolest Restaurants In Las Vegas

A lot of the coolest restaurants in Las Vegas have a modern or new concept, but Barry’s will take you back to the 50s, 60s, and 70s in Sin City. This place is dripping in vintage glamour, making every patron feel like a VIP. 

Menu highlights include prime steak cuts, fresh seafood, and entrees with tableside preparation. Creative cocktails with inspiration from timeless classics complete the cool experience at Barry’s Downtown Prime. The whole concept is to make guests feel like they’re dining in an old Vegas steakhouse. That includes friendly staff, high-quality food, and luxurious design finishes. Barry’s is located on Fremont Street at Circa. 

8 East is another cool place at Circa in Downtown Las Vegas to enjoy dinner. This pan-Asian eatery has a hip, high-energy dining room and a menu full of delicious food. Of course, it’s not just the food that makes this place special. At the entrance to 8 East, there’s an entire wall of waving cats that symbolize good luck called Maneki-niko. Surely that means that eating a meal here is good luck, right? Even if your luck stays the same, you’ll leave with a stomach full of tasty Asian food.

Oddwood at AREA15 is more of a bar than a restaurant, but it’s so cool we’ll let that technicality slide. The bar is surrounded by giant pieces of art, but most notably, there’s a 25-foot-tall digital maple tree. The tree is made using color, and light displays that twinkle to the beat of the music playing overhead. Sitting and watching the tree twinkle while you sip a delicious, hand-crafted cocktail is almost hypnotizing.

The bar offers a curated menu of appetizers to satisfy you while you drink. Lobster Rangoon, wood-grilled ribeye skewers, and wagyu pigs in a blanket are among the flavorful small bites offered.

The X Pot is one of the Las Vegas culinary scene’s most unique, immersive dining experiences. The place was designed to engage all five senses. Thematic soundscapes and interactive light shows shining on your dinner plate are unlike any restaurant experience you’ve had before.

The private dining room has walls equipped with HD 360 projections to change the space setting easily. In addition to a gorgeous dining room and fantastic guest experience, you’ll get to enjoy a delicious meal featuring authentic Chinese flavors. The X Pot is located at Palazzo Las Vegas on Las Vegas Boulevard.  

Blackout Dining is one of the most fun restaurants in Las Vegas simply because the dining experience is so unlike anything you’ve done before. Forget fancy decor and art installations. Here, you’ll be dining in total darkness in a very immersive experience.

Blackout Dining wait staff are equipped with night vision goggles so they can lead you to your seats and serve your meal, but there’s a catch; you don’t get to choose what to order. The meal will be brought out in courses. You’ll eat and see how you feel about the food when your sight is taken away. At the end of the meal, the wait staff will lead you to a well-lit room to reveal what you ate and give a description of each menu course. 

Caesars Palace is known to be a great spot on the Vegas Strip for sports fans, and Stadia Bar takes that to another level. The casual bar is designed for basketball, football, and baseball fans. Every detail of the place is sports-related, from net-encased chandeliers to a recycled basketball court floor. 

Stadia Bar has two food menus for guests. There’s Bobby’s Burger Menu and Difara Pizza Menu. Sticking with the sports theme — the menus feature all-American flavors that are impossible not to love. 

The Cosmopolitan is known for having some of the best speakeasies in Las Vegas, so this hidden restaurant in Las Vegas fits right in. é by Jose Andréas is an intimate spot located inside Jaleo. The executive chef left no detail out for this ultra-special fine dining experience. The dining room seats just nine people, so advanced reservations are required. If you can’t get a reservation during your trip, Jaleo is a great dining option too.

They serve 20-course dinners at this ultimate chef’s table that are assembled in front of patrons with tweezers, then served on replicas of Jose’s hands. Each plate is beautifully presented.

Casa Calavera is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Las Vegas and definitely the coolest. Mural art covers the walls of the eater located at Virgin Hotels. The floor is covered in traditional Mexican tiles, and the mural art we mentioned has some deep meaning behind it. If you look closely, you’ll find references to Dia de Los Muertos and Lady Catrina.

One more cool and unique feature at Casa Calavera is the tequila throne! Diners are welcome to sit on the throne and take a picture so that you can summon your inner tequila, King or Queen.

Jimmy Buffet’s famous Margaritaville has a location at Flamingo Las Vegas. This Caribbean-inspired restaurant is all about beach living, relaxing, and good times with friends. Every hour is happy hour, which means drink specials all day long! The specialty cocktails here are good, but the margaritas are even better. The menu includes great food that merges American classics with Caribbean flavors and cooking methods. 

Located right in front of Caesars Palace, Hell’s Kitchen is guaranteed to be your coolest restaurant experience in Las Vegas if you’re a Gordon Ramsay fan. It’s designed to look and feel just like the original Hell’s Kitchen used to film the reality competition show.

The kitchen can be seen from the dining room and is clearly separated into red and blue teams, just like on the show. The menu includes some of Hell’s Kitchen’s most famous dishes from over the years, and the knowledgeable staff works hard to make every guest feel special. Between the great service and the chance to try the famous Beef Wellington, we have absolutely loved this place.

If you don’t mind a bit of a raunchy theme, Heart Attack Grill is a unique restaurant that would only fit in Sin City. The diner has a theme; hospitals. Waitresses dress as sultry nurses, diners wear hospital gowns and bracelets, and your order is written down like a prescription. The menu is full of great food that’s not so great for your arteries, but everything is okay in moderation, right?

One cool feature of Heart Attack Grill is their policy that anyone who weighs 350 pounds or more before their meal can eat free of charge! For diners who don’t finish their plate, a nurse will give you a paddling in front of the dining room. Don’t worry; you can purchase the paddle as a keepsake when she’s finished. 

Javier’s Cantina is a Mexican eatery focused on creating a fine dining experience with authentic flavors and traditional recipes. There’s an impressive selection of tequila with a unique drink menu, but it’s no surprise that margaritas are the most popular.

What makes Javier’s really cool is the 25-foot piece of chainsaw art on display. It is absolutely massive, with a total weight of around 3,000 pounds. The art is the natural centerpiece of Javier’s dining room. Javier’s can be found at ARIA CityCenter, near The Shops at Crystals.

Walk through a photo-worthy hallway of flowers and lights to enter CATCH at ARIA Las Vegas. The upscale Asian eatery is a popular dining destination for celebrities and tourists who want a unique fine dining experience. The menu features renditions of sushi, seafood, and steak. The CATCH roll with tableside torching, black truffle caviar sashimi, and the interactive Hit Me Cake are some of the most common items at CATCH.

They stay open late, and many diners hang around after their meal is finished, sipping signature cocktails and taking in the scenery. 

Take a trip to Paris without your passport at Eiffel Tower Restaurant. Located inside the Eiffel Tower replica at the Paris Las Vegas, they offer one of the coolest views of the Las Vegas Strip. You can watch the Bellagio Fountains as you indulge in expertly prepared French cuisine and order from an extensive wine list. 

This romantic restaurant books quickly, so make your reservation as far in advance as possible.

Just the name of this bar and grill sounds cool, so it’s not surprising to learn that it is even cooler than expected. The menu features classic American comfort food and delicious craft brews. What makes this place feel so cool is how it’s decorated.

There are signs and bicycles hanging on the walls, an old truck hanging from the ceiling, and booths with license plates in the main dining room. This is a casual dining option with no reservation required, plus excellent happy hour specials.

Best Friend is an unsuspecting Korean BBQ on Las Vegas Boulevard at Park MGM. Walking in feels nothing like walking into a restaurant but a whole lot like walking into a bodega. The casual space has bar stools for people to order quick bites or purchase merchandise, but the real magic can be found behind the pink freezer door.

Behind the door, you’ll find a full bar and the restaurant’s main dining room. The dining room features vibrant colors, a DJ booth, a hand-painted mural on one wall, and several live plants. The atmosphere is lively, fun, and very reminiscent of LA. 

Top of the World Restaurant at Stratosphere Hotel is one of the coolest, most romantic restaurants in Las Vegas. The dining room is equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows that give you a birds-eye view of the Las Vegas Strip below. The dining room is constantly moving too. It moves slowly so it won’t disrupt your meal, but the room spins 360 degrees every 80 minutes.

Top of the World is an upscale restaurant that is reservation-only with a strict dress code for all patrons. It’s great for a special occasion but a bit pricey for a standard dinner. Ultimately, you’re paying for the view, not just the meal.

Wazuzu is a pan-Asian restaurant at Wynn Las Vegas with a menu created by Chef Jimmy Widjaja. The menu brings together Thai, Chinese, and Japanese flavors with creative dishes that will make your casual lunch or dinner feel more special.

The food at Wazuzu shouldn’t be understated, but the coolest part of the restaurant is the 27-foot sparkling dragon that’s covered in crystals. More than 90,000 individual crystals were used to make the showpiece, and they certainly did a great job at making it an eye-catching piece of decor. 

After years of working as a chef and filming hit TV shows like Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, Guy Fieri opening another Las Vegas restaurant seems like a natural step. His Vegas Kitchen, located at The LINQ, is guaranteed to take you to FlavorTown!

The menu has twists on classic comfort foods with small bites and shareable plates. A giant cheesecake dessert is also meant to be shared, but we won’t judge if you want to keep it all for yourself. The 6,500-square-foot outdoor patio offers good views of the Las Vegas Strip in a very casual, upbeat atmosphere. 

A 400-seat, two-story dining room is just the start of the statement pieces at TAO Asian Bistro. The pan-asian menu is good, but the decor inside the restaurant is even better. There’s an infinity pool filled with koi fish, a 20-foot Buddha floating over the top, century-old stones, and luxurious silk drapes.

The bistro is located in Venetian Las Vegas. The entire menu has good reviews, but guests especially love the sushi trays and edible structures. 

Discover delicious Italian cuisine at Eataly, located inside Park MGM. Eataly is not just one restaurant but rather a gathering of multiple Italian eateries. Toscana Ristorante and Bar serve regional cuisine from Tuscany. La Pizza & La Pasta has a menu made entirely of Napoli-style pizza and artisanal pasta. La Cucina del Mercato is a counter-to-table concept restaurant where diners can eat what they shop and shop what they eat, all in the same place. 

Eataly is also home to cooking classes, private events, and never-ending wine lists. 

Caesars Palace has one of the best, if not the best, buffet in Las Vegas. Bacchanal Buffet is equipped with open kitchens spread across nine different stations, each offering a different type of cuisine. Food is made by specialty chefs right in front of you, with hundreds of menu items to choose from.

We love Bacchanal Buffet because of the incredible variety that’s offered without compromising on quality or cutting corners on the customer experience. You don’t have to be a Caesars Palace guest to dine at Bacchanal Buffet, which makes it even better!
